Spirit Leaves Until October

Making its final spring departure, the passenger ship Carnival Spirit passes Gaillard Island on its way out of Mobile Bay APR 13th 2026. Moving at 12 mph, Spirit begins a sixteen day voyage that will bring the ship through the Panama Canal Friday, along with stops in Puntarenas, Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, before finishing in Seattle. From there, Spirit will provide seven day round trip cruises to Alaska during the spring and summer before returning to Mobile in late October. Spirit will then spend one final season running cruises out of Mobile before being replaced by the Carnival Valor, which–starting in May, 2027–will begin year-round cruises.
