New Elks in Fairhope

Twelve people take the pledge JUL 23 2026, becoming the newest members of Fairhope Elks Lodge 1879. The organization’s member count stands at 545 with more applications coming in. When asked why they decide to apply for membership, the new members have a common answer: They are looking for opportunities to volunteer and feel that the Elks Lodge is a great fit.

Elks care. Established in 1868, the Elks is a private, benevolent organization whose members regularly launch projects to help people in need. The four cardinal virtues of the Elks are Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity.
