Where Beef Stroganoff Rocks

Colleen and I slip into Fairhope’s R Bistro for dinner on a recent weekend. Although the menu has several options that tempt (including a redfish special the night we showed up), we both wind up ordering the Beef Stroganoff ($20). Between the tender, flavorful beef and the accompanying pastry shell, this is one delicious dish. And good luck with trying not to devour the bread they serve. A special Fourth of July menu offers everything from ribeyes and filets to poorboys, conecuh dogs and more.
