𝙀𝙡𝙠𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚. Established in 1868, the Elks is a private, benevolent organization whose members regularly launch projects to help people in need. The four cardinal virtues of the Elks are Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity. In addition to community service projects, Elks also stage activities throughout the year for members’ enjoyment like Burger night every week and, on Monday, the Elks’ annual Labor Day barbecue, which is open to everyone and offers a choice of chicken, rib or pork plates.
