Kingfisher’s Pontchartrain

Colleen and I stop in at Fairhope’s Kingfisher Seafood for dinner AUG 21 2026. The Pontchartrain ($35), featuring a panéed drum filet topped with caper-hollandaise, winds up in front of me. Colleen goes for the Hawaiian seafood salad ($18) and a small cup of crab and brie soup ($9), both of which are favorites. The Pontchartrain comes with a choice of salad or slaw plus a side. Service is good thanks to Chloe, our server, who makes sure that we have what we need. I’ve gotten the Pontchartrain on a number of previous visits and will continue to do so.
