Fairhope’s Newest Motel

𝙇𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙋𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙘 𝙄𝙣𝙣: 𝙉𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙨…

For the people renovating what has been known as Fairhope’s Baron’s Inn, there’s a distinct family connection. Around half a century ago, Kyle Dorgan’s grandfather bought the property. Today, Dorgan is helping oversee a complete renovation along with new owner Tricia Littleton, who purchased the property APR 24th. Littleton has drawn praise for creating Little Point Clear Suites and Space, the venue for weddings, private parties and family reunions that she owns near The Grand Hotel. The two share a vision for this latest venture. They want Little Point Scenic Inn, as it will be called, to “preserve the coastal vibe.” Although they hope to have the project finished in early 2027, a lot of work has to be done before getting to that point.

In the meantime, eastern shore residents curious about what’s next for the place that was known as The Magnolia Inn in the 1950s sometimes pull in to the parking lot to ask questions about what will be the newest addition to Fairhope’s motel scene.
