Fairhope Emblem Club 241

Despite a busy schedule, the North Pole’s jolliest character manages to work in a visit to Fairhope Elks Lodge 1879 the morning of DEC 6th 2025. Santa’s visit is part of a holiday breakfast held by Fairhope Emblem Club 241. Emblem is a separate organization from the Elks, although the groups have a close working relationship. Emblem’s members cook some of the monthly meals that are served at the Lodge. Meals served by Emblem are open to the public and do not require Lodge membership. Emblem will serve spaghetti dinner at the Lodge on JAN 7th 2026. Cost is $17 and includes bread and dessert. Emblem’s history dates to 1926 when a group of women in Providence, Rhode Island, met to wrap bandages for soldiers wounded in World War One. The group started as a women’s civic organization linked to the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks and became known as The Supreme Emblem Club of the United States of America. Similar to the mission of the Elks, Emblem members are dedicated to charitable activities and supporting Veterans around the eastern shore. The Fairhope Emblem Club received its charter in 1953.
