Legion Dedicates New Building

Crippled by Hurricane Sally in September, 2020, Fairhope’s American Legion Post 199 reaches the end of a long road with the NOV 14th 2025 dedication and ribbon cutting for a new building to serve members and veterans. The Legion hasn’t had a facility of its own to conduct activities since temporary buildings that had been rented were removed in December, 2024. The new building includes a restaurant that’s open to the public. There ribbon cutting is part of a three day celebration extending through the weekend for the Legion.
