Fat Boys Grilling For veterans

In addition to Fairhopeβs Veteranβs Day parade NOV 8th 2025, one group of local residents spend the day working on a downright delicious approach to show support for veterans. Members of the non-profit organization Fat Boys Grilling team up with Fairhopeβs VFW Lodge 5660 to cook slabs of ribs and rib plates for sale to the public (veterans showing up to buy a plate are told to leave their money in their pockets). Sale proceeds go to benefit the Lodge and its work supporting veterans. Fat Boys Grilling has cooked various foods for the Lodge and other groups and fundraising efforts over the years. The group will be cooking turkeys when the Lodge holds its free Thanksgiving meal again this year. My thanks to the Fat Boys gang for letting me stage video ambushes and getting to watch rib geniuses at work. And just how are those ribs? Simply superbβ¦
