Alabama Stands With Texas

Flags across Alabama fly at half staff JUL 10th 2025 in honor of the victims of what has been called catastrophic flooding that killed at least 121 people last week in central Texas. In solidarity with the state of Texas, Governor Kay Ivey says flags may be flown at half staff until sunrise Monday. Kerr county, west of Austin, bore the brunt of the disaster. Current estimates say 161 people remain missing in Kerr county alone, with at least ten more people missing in other parts of the state.
