Zim Xiamen, a 984 foot by 158 foot container ship sailing under the flag of Liberia, heads out of Mobile Bay Thursday morning. With a draught of 34 feet, the ship moves at 11 mph while starting a day’s trip to Tampa. According to ship manifests, Zim Xiamen is loaded with aluminum wheels, mufflers and other automotive parts.
