Hoegh Trooper, a 656 foot by 105 foot vehicles carrier sailing under the flag of Norway, heads into the port of Mobile Wednesday afternoon. With a draught of 30 feet, the ship moves at 14 mph while finishing a voyage that began yesterday from Freeport, TX. According to ship manifests, liferafts, bulldozers, wheel loaders and three privately owned vehicles–a 2015 BMW 320, a 2016 Dodge Challenger and a 2023 Volvo–are among the cargo Hoegh Trooper carries.
