remembering Stacey H. Kulp
A friend says, “He made our Army a better place.” Stacey H. Kulp, a past commander of Fairhope’s American Legion Post 199, died FEB 11 2025 of a heart attack. I knew Stacey from the Legion after we moved to Fairhope. In addition to his military career, Stacey ran businesses specializing in cleanup, mold remediation and property restoration. Hard, nasty work never sent him running away, whether in the military or his commercial business. Stacey took a huge role in cleaning up the mess when Hurricane Sally destroys our home. The comments of others who knew Stacey say a lot: “Always professional, always honest, and always deeply concerned for the welfare of his troops.”
