Spirit in Bay of the holy Spirit

Cruising with Spirit: Carnival Spirit, the 959 foot by 127 foot passenger ship that sails out of Mobile part time, passes Gaillard Island on its way out of the Bay of the Holy Spirit (as sixteenth century Spanish explorers called Mobile Bay) into the Gulf of America Sunday evening, JAN 12th. Moving at 11 mph, the ship begins a three day voyage to Belize City, arriving Wednesday and then to Cozumel. After returning Saturday, the ship makes its final voyage out of Mobile until October.
