Airbus ship in Mobile Bay: City of Hamburg, a 415 foot by 67 foot Ro-ro cargo ship sailing under the flag of France, heads into the port of Mobile on a frigid wind-whipped Monday. Moving at 17 mph, the ship finishes a fourteen day voyage that began DEC 23rd from Montoir, France. City of Hamburg is one of the vessels Airbus uses to transport sections of new airplanes to Mobile for assembly. Although the photograph was taken in sharp focus, the image appears blurry because of the effect of cold, dense air mixing with warmer air at the surface.
