Thanksgiving for the community

If you don’t have a place to go for a Thanksgiving meal, you do now. Free meals will be served between Noon and 2pm on Thanksgiving Day, courtesy of Fairhope’s VFW Post 5660 at 950 Nichols Ave. And while the Post’s activities are geared to serve veterans, a military background is not required to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner. Facility manager Kerry Lambert stresses that the free meal offer extends to everyone. Donations from area businesses and residents help make the event possible. Show up between noon and 2pm, Lambert says, and enjoy what Thanksgiving is all about…
