SS United States Update

𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥 𝙘𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙝𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙖𝙣:

The SS United States, one of its stacks now removed, sits in Mobile, while preparations continue to turn the ship into an artificial reef off the coast of Destin. The United States has been in Mobile since MAR 3rd, following a 13 day trip, having been towed from Philadelphia FEB 19th. Soaring six stories high, plans call for both funnels to become part of a land-based museum exhibit that will provide visitors with a history of the prestigious ship which, at just over 41 mph, holds the title of fastest ocean liner ever built.
