Progress For American Legion

Crews continue to make headway on what’s called Phase One of The American Legion Post 199’s efforts to recover from Hurricane Sally. Phase One is a new building that will serve as a multi-purpose space for Legion members to use for everything from conducting Legion business to providing services for Veterans and room for Post meetings and social gatherings. Saying they’ve met 45% of their fundraising goal, Legion leaders are continuing to seek donations to help them get the rest of the way. September is the current estimate for Phase One’s completion.
