MSC Bridgeport in Mobile Bay

MSC Bridgeport, a 1,059 foot by 140 foot container ship sailing under the flag of Portugal, heads into the port of Mobile late the morning of MAR 16 2025. Moving at 14 mph with a draught of 37 feet, the ship finishes a two day voyage from Houston. According to ship manifests, MSC Bridgeport carries around ten tons worth of tires, about thirteen tons of steel doors, around 26 tons of machine made rugs, roughly 46 tons of primed finger jointed boards plus microscopes, sleeping bags and liners, door locks, ceiling fans, heat strengthened glass, slow cookers, toilet paper holders and plywood.
