Helping Cancer Patients

If you’d like to help people fighting cancer, 2 Shots In, which calls itself Fairhope’s veteran-owned, neighborhood friendly bar, comes up with an easy and flavorful way to do it.

Stop in on any Wednesday between 5 and 7 during the next few weeks, hand over $25 and get a generous helping of fresh, ready-to-eat boiled crawfish. The Bar donates all profits to the Anchor Cross Cancer Foundation, a Daphne-based 501(c)(3) charity. Anchor Cross provides financial assistance in a number of ways to people battling cancer. Last year, Anchor Cross helped 125 Baldwin and Mobile Co. cancer patients with paying their bills. The group paid out more than $84,000. All of the money stays local.

The foundation is also planning its seventh annual Masquerade Ball, set for JUN 13th at the Daphne Civic Center.
