Free Thanksgiving Meals

𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠𝙨𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚:

If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal at no charge, Fairhope’s VFW Post 5660 once again opens its doors to the public, as it has done in past years. Turkey, ham and all the trimmings will be served starting at noon and lasting until 2pm. If you don’t have access to a Thanksgiving meal, Post Manager Kerry Lambert says to show up, because the event is open to all. The Post extends a special invitation to Veterans, family and friends. The cooking group Fat Boys Grilling, whose members regularly support the VFW, will be preparing turkeys. The free meal started a few years ago and has become an annual event. Austal USA is donating turkeys, while Publix is also providing support. Lambert and a crew of helpers and Post volunteers are handling the rest of the work.
