Conti Cortesia: Wax To The Max

Conti Cortesia, a 1,095 foot by 140 foot container ship sailing under the flag of Malta, heads into the port of Mobile the morning of FEB 12th 2026, moving at 12 mph. With a draught of 40 feet, the ship finishes a trip from Houston. According to ship manifests, Conti Cortesia’s cargo includes more than 300 tons of wax paraffin, around 23 tons worth of tricycles, scooters, dolls’ carriages and pedal cars and more than 43 tons worth of woodworking machines, plus air conditioners, plastic cups, surgical drapes and gowns, picture frames, dog beds, curtains, furniture pads, storage baskets and folding beds.
