CMA CGM Rhone arrives

𝙇𝙤𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙤 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙮 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙞𝙨 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧:

CMA CGM Rhone, a 984 foot by 158 foot container ship sailing under the flag of Malta, pulls into the port of Mobile FEB 15th 2026. With a draught of 41 feet, the ship moves at 14 mph while finishing a three day voyage from Houston. According to ship manifests, CMA CGM Rhone carries nearly fifteen tons worth of children’s toys, about 22 tons of pet doors, around 5.5 tons of school supplies plus curtains, playground equipment and roughly 23 tons worth of hexamethylenetetramine*, used in plastics, pharmaceuticals, explosives and even as a food additive in some countries (though not approved in the U.S.).
