Carnival Spirit Aims for Warmth

The passenger ship Carnival Spirit heads out of a frigid, wind-whipped Mobile Bay late Sunday afternoon, as it begins a voyage to the port of Grand Bahama in the Bahamas.
The ship will continue to sail to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean while operating out of its current homeport in Mobile through early 2026. In spring 2026, the ship repositions to Seattle where it will run Alaska cruises. Spirit will relocate to Tampa, FL for the 2027-2028 season, and later will reposition to Galveston, TX.
