Cargo That Helps You Stay Cool

Cosco Philippines, a 1,095 foot by 140 foot container ship sailing under the flag of Hong Kong, passes Gaillard Island on its way into the port of Mobile the morning of JUN 7, 2025. With a draught of 40 feet, the ship moves at 12 mph while finishing a two day trip from Houston. According to ship manifests, Cosco Philippines carries roughly 114 tons worth of micro channel heat exchangers, about two and a half tons of surgical drapes, nearly twelve tons worth of balloons and around five tons worth of dodgeballs plus document folders, candles, leather sofas, dining chairs and flashlight headlamps.
