Black’s Cafe Hits A Home Run

Any time the hot chef at this place spends time in advance working on a meal, I know it’s going to be good. The Sunday night dinner at this place OCT 19th 2025 is proof. Chicken souvlaki marinated overnight and then placed on the Blackstone grill is never a bad call. Throw some potatoes and onions on the grill too, and you’re talking a serious winner of a meal. But wait, there’s more. Also being grilled are sliced pieces of eggplant coated with Greek seasoning and olive oil. The eggplant is then mixed with hummus and feta cheese into a dip. Place some of the dip on a slice of fresh pita bread, and I’m pretty sure that we’re eating like kings. The cute chef is another benefit of dining at this place. I’m inclined to say something suggestive to her, but stay quiet. But I’m thinkin’ ‘em. Heck, this is such a great meal that even the aromas filling the patio entice poodles who are nice enough to loiter around the grill, offering to take care of anything that might get dropped…
