American Legion Starts Rebuild

Preliminary site work gets underway MAY 13 2025 for construction of a new building to provide operating space for Legion members. Today’s start of on-site work comes nearly three months after a groundbreaking ceremony held FEB 20th. The new building is part of what the Legion calls Phase One of its fundraising effort to recover from Hurricane Sally. Just steps away is the Legion’s main building which was rendered unusable after being heavily damaged by Sally in SEP 2020.
