𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥𝙨:

Money changes hands during the JAN 13th 2026 member meeting of Fairhope American Legion Post 199. Members of the Sons of the Legion present a check for $5,587.50 to help the post in its recovery from the devastating effects of Hurricane Sally in SEP 2020. The money presented will go toward defraying operating costs the Post incurs during the next few months. Along with operating costs, the Post is working to pay down debt owed on Phase One, the name given to its new building that opened in NOV 2025, following the loss of its main operating facility in the hurricane. American Legion Post 199 Fairhope, ALThe Post spent almost $1.5 million building Phase One and has various fundraising efforts underway including a GoFundMe page where–according to Post leaders–donations from the public are welcome and appreciated.American Legion Post 199 Fairhope, AL
