Allegiant Air flight 1358 passes over Battles Wharf the afternoon of SEP 12th 2025 while descending to land at Gulf Shores. From about 3,400 feet up, the Airbus A320 is captured slowing from a ground speed of 273 knots or 314 mph, while concluding a one hour twenty minute flight from Belleville/St. Louis. Based in Las Vegas, Allegiant Air serves small and medium size cities using what it calls an ultra low cost business model. The airline began service to Gulf Shores in May.
