𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙖:
GSL Maria, a 908 foot by 131 foot container ship sailing under the flag of Liberia, heads into the Port of Mobile the afternoon of FEB 17 2025. Moving at 11 mph with a draught 44 feet, the ship finishes a voyage that began JAN 24th from Busan New Port, Korea. According to ship manifests, GSL Maria carries nearly 600 tons of glyphosate (the active ingredient in Roundup and other weed killers), around 18 tons of fish oil, about 1.9 tons of baseball caps, around 698 pounds of pencil sharpeners and nearly half a ton of 3D printers plus tires, timing belts, stainless steel lug nuts, automotive parts and dough divider rounder machines.
